Gaby Baldeon Vaca, PhD

Gaby Baldeon Vaca is a mucosal immunologist with pre-clinical experience in vaccinology, infectious disease, and project leadership/management. Gaby joined the Clarametyx team in May 2025 as a Principal Scientist reporting to Dr. Veronica Hall. Prior to Clarametyx, she was a Research Lead in Moderna’s Infectious Disease department where she worked on the development of vaccines for respiratory protection. Gaby obtained her doctorate degree from Boston University School of Medicine, and her bachelor’s degree from Davidson College.
