Larry Edwards

Larry Edwards is a seasoned pharmaceutical leader with more than two decades of experience in commercial leadership roles. He currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of La Jolla Pharmaceuticals and Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of La Jolla Pharmaceutical Company. Prior to joining Tetraphase, Mr. Edwards served as Senior Director of Marketing, Gram-negative Franchise, with Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Inc., which was acquired by Merck & Co., Inc. During his time with Merck, he served as Global Marketing Director, Clostridium difficile and New Infectious Disease Products, and Associate Director of Vaccines and Infectious Diseases. Mr. Edwards received his bachelor’s degree in business and healthcare administration from Ohio University.
